A judge has decided not to reduce Mystikal’s $3 million bond. According to KSLA, Caddo Parish Judge Romana Emanuel handed down the decision during a hearing on Thursday afternoon (October 4).
Mystikal’s attorney had originally filed a motion asking for the bond to be reduced to $500,000.
The Louisiana rapper — widely known for his 2000s hit “Shake Ya Ass” — has was booked into Cardo Correctional Center last August on one count of first-degree rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping in connection to an alleged 2016 sexual assault.
He pleaded not guilty.
Mystikal’s next court date is scheduled for October 25.
