Nipsey Hussle’s Brother ‘Blacc Sam’ Found Him Dying. These Are NIP’s Final Moments

Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, the older brother of Nipsey Hussle opened up to the LA Times about witnessing the final moments of the aftermath of his brother’s tragic shooting death.
He says he made it to THE MARATHON STORE just precious minutes after Nipsey was ambushed and shot.
Blacc Sam describes a crowd forming into the parking lot of THE MARATHON STORE plaza around Nipsey while he was on the phone getting instructions from 911 on how to compress his little brother’s chest to keep him breathing. He says when paramedics arrived and lifted Nipsey up and onto the stretcher, that’s when he realized the gunshot wound to the back of his head.
Blacc Sam describes Nipsey as a spontaneous and sporadic person. “Nip gonna pull up and hop up out of the Jordan Downs projects, Nickerson Gardens, in any ‘hood in L.A., Compton, Watts — solo with $150,000 of jewelry on his neck and [an] $80,000 Rolex with no security. That’s why the people loved him.”
Blacc Sam goes on to say that the lack of protection and straps at the time of his brother’s ambush is a result of employing felons and ex-cons who aren’t permitted to carry pistols therefore leaving Nipsey vulnerable when he doesn’t have his personal armed security.
“Because of that, the man was able to shoot my brother, start running, realize nobody out there had a gun, stop, turn back around, walk up, shoot my brother two more times, start to run, realize nobody had a gun, nobody was responding, ran back up and shot my brother three more times, shoot him in the head and kicked him in the head and then ran off.”
Blacc Sam and his family, who are very close knit, are left with many questions. “It doesn’t make sense that somebody from the area, that just snuck up, and just talked to him and shook his hand minutes before,” he said. “It’s mind-boggling.”
“If somebody would’ve been there — if I would’ve been there — I would’ve shot back,” he said. “I just wish I would’ve been there.”
